Anshin-hosho Insurance (highly recommended)

A service in which damages incurred due to the loss, theft, or damage to rented devices are covered by Telecom Square.
If insured, the following compensation costs shall be waived.
- - Total Loss (loss, theft, etc.)
* JPY 40,000/unit - WiFi router and SIM card / JPY 8,000/unit - Partial damage (scratches, etc.) - - JPY 2,000/accessory (pouch, conversion plug, AC adapter set, AC adapter, micro-USB cable)
- - JPY 300/conversion plug (C plug, BF plug, O plug).
- - JPY 5,000 - mobile battery (slim), mobile battery, Mobile battery (Large capacity)
- - JPY 2,000 - USB car charger
* Even if only the SIM card is lost or stolen, you will be charged for the entire unit.
* If the product is lost or stolen, please submit to us a certificate issued by a local police station or an official public agency. (Failure to do so will make you liable for 50% of the amount of compensation for WiFi routers and SIM cards, even if you have taken out the Peace of Mind Insurance (Anshin-hosho Insurance).)
*In the event of loss, theft, or damage, please contact our Support Centre immediately, regardless of whether you have taken out the Peace of Mind Insurance (Anshin-hosho Insurance) or not.
*There will be no charges incurred for partial damage to the unit if you have taken out the Peace of Mind Insurance (Anshin-hosho Insurance).

USB Car Charger

*The number of USB cables to be provided corresponds to the number of WiFi routers you will rent.
Please use your extra USB cables when charging smartphones or other devices simultaneously.
- Data Packet limitation due to mobile service providers' Fair Usage Policy (Policy for fair use of data communication)
- Flat-rate data communication products such as "Wi-Ho!®", use the local network and provide sufficient data capacity to general usage. However, for the fair use of telecommunications and high quality of the network, mobile service providers all over the world set a limit on data communication if a user consumes a large amount of data in a short period of time. In such case, the internet may be unable to connect or network speed may considerably slows down. Service charge will still accrue even if the above mentioned network limitation occurs.
Useful Guide to Data Communication Volumes
Care must be taken over video streaming, video calls, and other functions that require a high volume of data communication.
Although you may not experience difficulties with sending or receiving text messages or browsing the Internet, you may be restricted from streaming videos and making video calls within a few minutes due to the Fair Usage Policy.
Pay attention to your data usage to avoid consuming large amounts of data.
Below is a guide to the amount of data used through WiFi routers (100MB).
For example, video streaming (in HD quality) for about two minutes is equal to sending or receiving approximately 20,000 text messages.
